The Power of Potential, Springboard to Success’ 2024 Gala

The 2024 Springboard to Success (S2S) Gala: The Power of Potential raised $70,000 which will fund 35 scholarships to CHA students! Our Principal of Sustainability, Chyanne Husar, and Director of Architecture, Bruce Weber, spent the evening listening to inspirational stories from the S2S alums and connecting with other supporting organizations, CHA & S2S staff, and community members from across Chicago. It was inspiring to see everyone come together to make a difference in these students’ lives. 

Our emphasis on workforce development combined with our work on CHA assessments makes S2S a clear mission-aligned organization. Chyanne has served on the board since 2023 and this year HUS was happy to commit $1k toward the scholarship funds.

Springboard to Success (S2S) enhances the vital work of the Chicago Housing Authority’s (CHA) Resident Services by funding programs and events that augment current youth programs and services. S2S ensures a robust college access pipeline for CHA youth by funding programs and events that bridge gaps and reduce barriers for CHA youth to get to and through college and into professional careers.
